We offer corporate, transactional and international tax advice, advice on corporate restructures and project finance, including cross border.
COMMERCIAL PROPERTY
We have expertise in commercial property, all aspects of property development (retail, commercial and residential), including bulk developments. We also offer a conveyancing service.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
We offer litigation and arbitration services focusing on commercial disputes of all kinds and corporate and shareholder disputes.

HENNIE BESTER
ATTORNEY
Hennie is an attorney, notary and conveyancer. He holds a BA LL.B from the University of Stellenbosch and a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax from the University of Cape Town. Hennie specialises in corporate, transactional and international tax work. He has also developed specific sectorial interest in the ICT, retail, oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. Hennie has in-depth experience in the tax dimensions of corporate restructures and project finance, especially in their cross-border context
MARTIE FOSTER
CORPORATE TAX CONSULTANT
Martie is a CA(SA) and specialises in domestic and international corporate tax. Martie attended the Rand Afrikaans University where she obtained a B Comm (Accounting), B Comm (Hons) (Accounting with CTA) as well as H Dip (Tax Law) qualification. She also attended the University of Cape Town where she obtained a Masters in Taxation (International Tax) degree. She also obtained a Certificate in Financial Markets from the Academy of Financial Markets.
ZUNAID RAWOOT
ATTORNEY
Zunaid specialises in all areas of property law and conveyancing and has substantial experience in structuring complex commercial property transactions as well as advising on residential property developments from inception to registration. He also attends to the registration of security documents such as mortgage and notarial bonds for financial institutions. He is able to assist with immovable property due diligence investigations and general notarial practice. He is regarded as an expertise in his field by various rating agencies such as Legal 500 and Chambers Global. Zunaid has an LLB degree from the University of Cape Town. He is an admitted conveyancer and notary public.

Matthew has a BSocSci LLB and a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Law from the University of Cape Town. His areas of practice include litigation, arbitration, corporate and commercial law, tax law and trusts and estate planning.

John serves as a consultant to Corporate Law Alliance, having retired on 31 January 2022 after 55 years of practice in the areas of corporate and commercial law and the resolution of commercial disputes. In later years he served as curator of two large financial institutions, having been appointed by the High Court on the application of the Financial Services Board. A keen yachtsman with vast ocean sailing experience, John has also been heavily involved in the administration of his sport, having served as Commodore of Royal Cape Yacht Club and President of SA Sailing. Presently he serves as President of RCYC.
