Lindsay graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1980 with a BA LLB. She did her articles with Prisman and Wilson and won the Cape Town Attorneys Association prize for achieving the best results in the Attorneys Admission Examination in 1981. She went on to become a partner at that firm where she remained until 1996. Lindsay was a partner at Mallinicks Inc and at Webber Wentzel in Cape Town before commencing practice for her own account in 2010. She became a member of Corporate Law Alliance in 2011.
Lindsay has extensive experience in general legal practice with specific expertise in the areas of commercial and property law. She advises on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, finance transactions, the sales of shares. shareholder arrangements, sales of businesses, joint venture agreements and attends to the drafting and settling of general commercial contracts of all kinds,
In addition, Lindsay handles commercial property matters including the structuring and documenting of property transactions which are often highly complex, the formation of property loan stock companies, the acquisition of hotels, formation of rental pools and all aspects of property developments (retail, commercial and residential, including bulk developments).
